Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in making a variety of pizzas, from traditional styles to gourmet creations, and should be confident in dough preparation, baking techniques, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide range of pizzas using fresh ingredients and authentic techniques
Hand-stretch and roll dough, prepare sauces, toppings, and bake pizzas in stone or electric ovens
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station and overall kitchen
Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are consistently met
Follow health and safety regulations in food handling and kitchen operations
Innovate and suggest new pizza recipes and seasonal specials
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar culinary role
Knowledge of different pizza styles (Neapolitan, New York-style, thin crust, etc.)
Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, dough mixers, and prep tools
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
