Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager – Technical to drive growth in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record in business development. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, delivering compelling technical solutions, and building long-term client relationships.

Experience Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and strategic partnerships.

  • Understand technical products or services in depth and communicate their value to prospective clients.

  • Develop and present tailored technical proposals and presentations to stakeholders and clients.

  • Collaborate closely with product development and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs.

  • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business reports to senior leadership.

  • Manage and nurture key client relationships to enhance satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor movements, and technological advancements.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in coordination with internal legal and commercial teams.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads and build brand visibility.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development or technical sales in a B2B setting.

  • Strong understanding of relevant technical domains (e.g., software, cloud solutions, industrial automation).

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to business growth.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value propositions.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events.
