Role Summary:
A leading manufacturing facility in Pune is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and oversee the quality function. The ideal candidate will bring 6–10 years of QA leadership experience within a certified manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or defence sector. This role requires strong documentation discipline, process ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring full compliance with AS9100D and customer-specific standards.
Own and continuously improve QA documentation—procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
Plan and execute internal, customer, and third-party audits; lead corrective/preventive actions and closure.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams to define and track quality KPIs.
Act as the main point of contact for quality-related communication with customers and global partners.
Train, mentor, and lead the QA team while promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Conduct root cause analyses using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and FMEA; drive effective resolution.
Manage non-conformities and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
6–10 years of QA experience in AS9100D or ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing environments.
Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English; strong documentation skills.
Familiarity with ERP, PLM, or QMS systems is a plus.
Certification as Lead Auditor (AS9100) is preferred.
