About the Role:

We are looking for a Unity Developer with experience in 2D game development to join our team in Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for turning design concepts into engaging and functional games using the Unity framework. A foundational understanding of multiplayer technologies like Socket.IO or Photon is a bonus.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about gaming, takes pride in clean code, and is eager to create high-performance games for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain 2D games using the Unity game engine.

  • Implement game functionality by translating design ideas and requirements into robust features.

  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality games.

  • Optimize game performance across various platforms (mobile, desktop, etc.).

  • Debug and resolve issues related to game logic, UI, and performance.

  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable C# code within Unity.

  • Integrate basic multiplayer functionalities using Socket.IO or Photon (basic level acceptable).


Experience Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in Unity (2D/3D game development).

  • Proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.

  • Understanding of Unity physics, animations, and UI systems.

  • Basic experience or knowledge of multiplayer development using Socket.IO or Photon.

  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

  • Strong problem-solving ability and team collaboration skills.

  • Passion for game development and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other multiplayer frameworks (highly preferred).

  • Knowledge of game monetization strategies and in-game analytics.

  • Experience optimizing games for multiple platforms.
