About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with deep expertise in backend development, SQL, and MongoDB. This is a key role within our development team, requiring strong technical leadership, architectural skills, and the ability to mentor junior developers. You will be responsible for building scalable server-side applications, ensuring system performance, and developing efficient data interactions across SQL and NoSQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Node.js.
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless front-end integration.
Collaborate closely with front-end teams to align server-side logic with UI components.
Ensure application scalability, responsiveness, and security.
Design and optimize database schemas and queries for SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
Provide mentorship, code reviews, and guidance to junior developers.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate best practices into development processes.
Participate in architecture discussions and help shape product direction.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8–10 years of hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js frameworks like Express.js.
In-depth understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Proven experience with SQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and writing advanced queries.
Expertise in NoSQL databases (MongoDB), including schema design and data modeling.
Experience with ORM tools (Sequelize, Mongoose).
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment automation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
