Job Location: Mozambique

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead geology projects including oil extraction, infrastructure development, and field sampling.

Conduct site surveys and generate borehole logs, maps, and GIS reports.

Collect and analyze geological samples: fossils, soil, rock, ores, etc.

Use geological instruments (e.g. X-ray devices) for testing materials.

Develop and coordinate geological research programs.

Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Perform quality control checks on raw materials for industrial use.

Study land formations and assess potential natural hazards.

Evaluate deposits of natural resources such as oil and minerals.

Provide consultancy on geology-related topics: resource management, gas extraction, etc.

Prepare technical reports based on research and field findings.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology or Geosciences.
Minimum 5 years of professional geological experience.
Proficiency in geological software and modeling tools.
Practical knowledge in mining, boring, and numerical modeling.
Strong understanding of environmental laws and industry compliance.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, teamwork orientation, and field adaptability.
Salary Range:
Entry-level: R23,081 – R46,010/month
Experienced: R30,114 – R59,558/month
