Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Indian Chef/Cook to join a private household in Central London. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing authentic, homestyle Indian cuisine and a strong background in working within private households or high-end restaurants.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare daily authentic Indian meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Plan menus in alignment with family preferences and dietary needs
Follow traditional and modern Indian recipes
Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
Manage kitchen inventory, grocery procurement, and stock rotation
Ensure punctuality and consistency in meal timings
Collaborate with household staff as a team player
Be open and available for occasional travel with the family
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian cooking, preferably in private households or premium hospitality
Strong knowledge of regional Indian cuisine
Proven ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Flexibility and adaptability in a household setting
Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor
Willingness to travel as needed
Education & Certifications:
Graduate or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
Specialized training or culinary course in Indian cuisine (preferred)
