Job Description: Instrumentation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Instrumentation Design:
- Develop and design modern electronic and electromechanical instruments.
- Create detailed schematics and technical drawings for instrumentation systems.
Installation and Commissioning:
- Install and calibrate electronic, electromechanical, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
- Oversee commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve issues in instrumentation systems promptly.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
Operations and Optimization:
- Operate and monitor instrumentation systems to ensure seamless performance.
- Optimize system functionality by implementing software and hardware upgrades.
System Integration:
- Integrate DCS of various types with existing systems and processes.
- Coordinate with other engineering departments to ensure smooth system operations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of all instrumentation activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Prepare reports and present findings to management as required.
Experience Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in modern electronic and electromechanical instruments.
- Hands-on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) of various types.
- Key Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent understanding of instrumentation design and operational principles.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in relevant tools and software for instrumentation design and analysis.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in advanced instrumentation technologies or DCS systems.
