Languages: Proficiency in both English and the local language is required.

Travel: Willingness to travel throughout India for machine installation and maintenance.

Job Summary:

We are seeking skilled Service Engineers to join our team, specializing in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines. The ideal candidates will have a strong technical background, with experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machinery. The role demands a proactive approach to customer service and the ability to work independently while traveling to client sites across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning:
- Install and commission CNC machines at customer sites, ensuring accurate setup, calibration, and system integration.
- Conduct machine testing to confirm optimal performance according to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in CNC machines.
- Repair or replace faulty components to restore machine functionality quickly and efficiently.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime and prolong machine life.
- Regularly inspect and service machines to identify and address potential issues before they cause disruptions.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to customers, addressing questions and resolving performance-related concerns.
- Assist clients with machine programming, software updates, and control system modifications.
Training & Documentation:
- Train customer staff on the proper operation, maintenance, and safety protocols of CNC machines.
- Prepare detailed service reports, documenting all work completed, parts replaced, and future service recommendations.
Customer Interaction:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, professional service.
- Work closely with the sales team to share feedback on customer needs and identify opportunities for machine upgrades or additional services.

Requirements:

Education:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Service Engineer or Technician in the CNC machinery or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine systems, mechanical components, and control systems.
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and machine drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
- Hands-on experience with machine tools, electrical systems, PLCs, and automation components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and test equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
