Plant Finance & Accounts Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning & Analysis:

   • Develop and manage financial strategies aligned with the plant's objectives.
   • Provide accurate financial analysis to guide management decisions on cost optimization, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
   • Analyze performance data and identify areas for improvement in cost control and profitability.

2. Accounting & Compliance:

   • Oversee all plant-level accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and adherence to accounting standards.
   • Ensure timely completion of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
   • Manage statutory and internal audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

3. Cost & Inventory Management:

   • Lead cost accounting activities, ensuring effective management of inventory, product costing, and variance analysis.
   • Collaborate with production teams to control costs and optimize financial performance.

4. Cash Flow & Budgeting:

   • Manage the plant's cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operational needs.
   • Lead the budgeting process, working with cross-functional teams to create, monitor, and revise budgets as necessary.

5. SAP & Financial Systems:

   • Utilize SAP for managing all financial activities, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and inventory management.
   • Ensure effective use of SAP to maintain accurate financial data and streamline reporting processes.

6. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

   • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and HR, to support the plant's financial objectives.
   • Act as a key liaison between corporate finance and the plant, ensuring smooth communication of financial data and strategic objectives.

Key Requirements:

1. Qualifications:

   • Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 12 years of experience.

2. Industry Experience:

   • Proven experience in an automotive or discreet manufacturing organization is essential.

3. Technical Skills:

   • Strong working knowledge of SAP, particularly in finance and accounting modules.

4. Financial Exposure:

   • Experience managing financial operations in an organization with sales revenue of 300+ crore.

5. Salary Range:

   • INR 18-22 Lacs per annum.
