Primary Responsibilities :
  • Prepare and bake breads, cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and other baked goods
  • Follow recipes and production schedules accurately
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
  • Monitor baking processes and adjust temperatures and timing as needed
  • Decorate and present baked items attractively
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of baking area and equipment
  • Order and manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
  • Comply with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Experiment with new recipes and suggest seasonal or specialty items
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to meet daily production goals
Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef
  • Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment (e.g., mixers, ovens, proofers)
  • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Creativity and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred but not required)
