Job Description:
The Garage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the garage, ensuring that maintenance and repair tasks are completed to the highest standards, and leading a team of technicians. The role involves managing the garage’s workflow, ensuring timely delivery of services, maintaining high-quality standards, and effectively handling customer concerns and inquiries. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles.
Experience Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the garage, including managing staff, setting work priorities, and ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of gasoline, hybrid, and electric vehicles, ensuring the quality and safety of all services provided.
- Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and support where necessary.
- Ensure the garage complies with all relevant safety standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the necessary tools and parts are available to perform required services.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, providing effective solutions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and other essential data.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Practical expertise in vehicle repair and maintenance; academic qualifications are not as important as hands-on experience.
- Experience: Significant experience working with gasoline, hybrid, and electric cars, ideally with experience in managing or leading a team.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, the ability to work well under pressure, excellent problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.
- Languages Known: English (Fluency in English is required to communicate effectively with staff and customers.)
